Many people’s favorite credit card is the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card which you can open and earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening (that’s $750 when you redeem through Chase Ultimate Rewards®). For only a $95 annual fee, you’ll earn 3x points on dining and on select streaming services and online grocery purchases, 5x points on travel purchased through Chase Ultimate Rewards, and 2x points on other travel, as well as a $50 Annual Ultimate Rewards Hotel Credit.

One of the best ways to use an 60,000 bonus is to transfer the points to Hyatt, and book a hotel near a Disneyland or Disney World; today we’re highlighting seven Hyatts near Disney parks.

Disneyland

Let’s start on the west coast: there are three Hyatts within 1.5 miles of Disneyland/California Adventure; you could use the Sapphire sign-up-bonus for multiple free nights at any of them!

People tend to think of Marriott as the Disney brand, because often Marriotts are the closest to the parks. The three Hyatts that made our list are located south of the parks, and most accessible using the Toy Story Parking lot shuttle.

Perks: free breakfast, suites with kitchens, closest to parks

A step up from the slightly more affordable Hyatt Place, the Hyatt House offers spacious studios and one-bedroom suites with full kitchens including fridges and microwaves. Located right on the corner of Katella and Harbor (kiddie-corner from California Adventure), you’ll find a Walgreens, Starbucks and pizza place in the same complex. Some rooms have fireworks views; families will enjoy the pool patio complete with BBQ. Pay to park, and use the nearby Toy Story Parking lot for complimentary Disneyland shuttle or walk 10-15 minutes to the park entrance.

With standard rooms as low as 12,000/night, your preferred bonus would cover up to five free nights at Disneyland!

With standard rooms as low as 9,000/night, your preferred bonus could cover up to seven free nights at Disneyland!

Hyatt Regency Orange County

Perks: Starbucks in the lobby, shuttle to parks (for a fee)

This may be further away from the parks than the others on the list, but the price is right and there are large, quiet suites (with bunkbeds) available. If you’re bringing a pet who might be scared by nightly fireworks, this might be a better option for your stay. Escape to the rooftop deck for activities & pool area.  Visit the gelato shop and the nearby OC Brewery, or shop for Disney gear at Target. Breakfast not included like the other two Hyatts on the list; microwaves are available to rent for your room. Parking is $28, shuttle is $6/person/day.

With standard rooms as low as 9,000/night, your preferred bonus could cover up to seven free nights at Disneyland!

Disney World

There are a couple Hyatts in the Lake Buena Vista area east of WDW, and two more between WDW & Universal if you’ll be splitting time between parks.
