There are lots of ways to earn the points and miles needed for hotels and airfare, but what what about purchasing Disney tickets with points and miles? Today we’re looking at six different ways you can use credit card points to purchase Disney tickets.
1. Chase Ink Business Cards
The current best offers are these two no-fee, cash-back cards:

Purchase Disney tickets on either card, then cash out your $900 bonus to help cover the cost of admission. If you already have one of these business cards, and it’s been 90 days, you can open the other one! And if you don’t have a business, don’t worry–just use your name, social security number, annual side-gig income no matter how small, and your household income when it asks for gross income. If it sends you a “pending review” message, wait 24 hours and it might process through. If you still haven’t heard, call the bank–they probably just need to verify your input!
2. Chase Sapphire Preferred

One of the many reasons we recommend starting with this card is because Chase will stop issuing credit cards to individuals once you’ve opened 5 cards from ANY bank within a 24 month period (it’s called the 5/24 rule). For that reason, you’ll want to open Chase cards before any others.
Open a Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and earn 60,000 bonus points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening (that’s $750 when you redeem through Chase Ultimate Rewards®). For only a $95 annual fee, you’ll earn 3x points on dining and on select streaming services and online grocery purchases, 5x points on travel purchased through Chase Ultimate Rewards, and 2x points on other travel, as well as a $50 Annual Ultimate Rewards Hotel Credit. By the time you earn your bonus, you’ll have $640 towards tickets: purchase tickets on the card and use the rewards as a statement credit to erase to ticket cost.
Here’s another great thing about this card: you can reopen it and get the signup bonus again every 48 months! Just close the card two weeks before you plan to reopen it, and make sure it’s been a full 48 months since you received the bonus (not since you opened the card).
3. The BILT Rewards Card
The ONLY way to get 1.25x value out of your points when buying Disney tickets is to use BILT Rewards. You can earn BILT rewards living in a BILT property, taking advantage of promos on their website or by spending on the BILT card.

Renters, listen up! The BILT card is the only card you can use to pay rent—for no fee! The Bilt Mastercard® has $0 annual fee and earns 1X points on rent payments without a transaction fee (up to 50,000 points each calendar year) 2x points on travel, 3x points on dining and 1x points on other purchase. Must make 5 transactions each statement period to earn your points.
Redeem your BILT points at 1.25x for Disney admission to Disneyland, Walt Disney World or Disneyland Paris in the BILT rewards portal.
4. Capital One Venture X

Open a Capital One Venture X Card and earn 75,000 miles after spending $4,000 within three months of account opening. This card has an annual fee of $395 but also includes an annual credit of $300 towards travel booked through Capital One Travel, and an annual 10,000 mile bonus on your card’s anniversary. This card’s introductory bonus would earn you $750 towards Disney park tickets (plus, you could use that $300 annual credit to book Disney flights or lodging through their portal).
To purchase Disneyland tickets on points with this card, there is one trick and one trick only: you must purchase the tickets from a third party site. Purchasing tickets directly from Disney does not code as travel on the Venture card, so purchase the tickets from a third-party site like Undercover Tourist (they offer refundable, lower-costing tickets anyway, so it’s a win all around).
One of the best features of the Venture X is that it offers complimentary Priority Pass, AND you can add up to four authorized users on your card at not extra charge, who will all have their own Priority Pass account too (read more about Priority Pass here)!
If you don’t need a travel card with Priority Pass, you might consider the Capital One Venture instead:
5. Capital One Venture

Open the Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card and earn 75,000 miles once you spend $4,000 on purchases within 3 months from account opening. For only a $95 annual fee, you’ll essentially earn $790 towards Disneyland tickets.
On the Capital One Venture card, rewards may be redeemed for travel purchases made on the card. Just like with the Venture X, to purchase Disneyland tickets on points with this card you must purchase the tickets from a third party site. Purchasing tickets directly from Disney does not code as travel on Venture cards, so purchase the tickets from a third-party site like Getaway today (Getaway offers refundable, lower-costing tickets anyway, so it’s a win all around). Use the 75,000 rewards to credit tickets off your venture statement.
6. Citi Premier

Open a Citi Premier® Card and for a limited time earn 60,000 bonus ThankYou® Points after you spend $4,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening with a $95 annual fee. You’ll essentially earn $640 towards Disneyland tickets.
My spouse and I each opened a Citi Premier card during a sign-up bonus–one at a time–and put all our regular spending on the open card (groceries, gas etc.), paying it off every month. We then used our combined points to buy five multi-day Disneyland tickets. To use your welcome bonus for Disney tickets, simply cash out the points as a statement credit.
Here’s another tip for using credit cards for Disneyland tickets!
7. Chase Sapphire Reserve

Open a Chase Sapphire Reserve® and earn 50,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards® Points after you spend $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. It comes with a $550 annual, but also a $300 travel credit and Priority Pass!
By the time you earn your welcome bonus you’ll have $540 towards tickets (buy them on the card, use the welcome bonus as a statement credit), plus the annual $300 travel credit–coded travel when you purchase Disneyland tickets from a third-party site like Getaway today–applies to Disneyland tickets. In essence, you’ll have $840 towards tickets!
(We do not recommend the Chase Sapphire Reserve as the best travel card anymore, ever since we opened the Capital One Venture X!)
